BALTIMORE, Md. January 28, 2010. Adler Display (adlerdisplay.com) announced today the winner of the nationwide Business Is Back Slogan Contest. Jean Tansey, President of Maryland Recreation and Parks Association and Chief of Capital Planning and Development for Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks, submitted the winning slogan, "Welcome in Year 2010...Happy Days are Here Again!"
October 2009 marked the launch of Adler Display's Business is Back program (BusinessIsBack.com). The program is designed to promote the end of the economic recession and to create excitement and business optimism for 2010. As a part of the program, Adler Display invited the business community to flex their creative muscles and submit a 2010 Business Is Back slogan.
As the head of planning and development for the Department of Recreation and Parks in Baltimore County, Jean Tansey's job thrives on optimism. "By nature, a role in planning and development is a constant look into the future," stated Ms. Tansey. "It's been a tough couple of years for all of us, but we are truly optimistic for 2010 and beyond. We're seeing positive things happening in the community—there is a sense that a shift is slowly but surely taking place," she added. "I really do welcome in 2010 and believe that happy days are here again."
Ms. Tansey will receive a custom-made banner stand, and her slogan designed and produced on a wall-mount graphic from Adler Display.
Adler Display president, Ron Adler was inspired by the contest entries. "Contest participation exceeded our expectations—we had many excellent slogans to choose from," said Adler. "It's exciting to see that there is optimism in the marketplace. People are ready to get back to business."
Adler Display will continue to promote positive business news through the Business is Back program throughout 2010.
