dupont nature center
The DuPont Nature Center at the Mispillion Harbor Reserve in Delaware is a
one-of-a-kind nature facility centered around a natural phenomenon. Each year horseshoe crabs - a prehistoric species still in existence - gather along
the shoreline at Slaughter Beach in Delaware propelled by the urge to mate.
Shortly after the crabs mate and lay their eggs, migratory shore birds that have
traveled from as far away as the southern tip of South America, stop to feed on
the horseshoe crab eggs.
Adler
Display was honored to work with the team at the DuPont Nature Center to
capture this amazing phenomenon, as well as provide
education about other beautiful and
fascinating wildlife, in engaging and interactive displays. The DuPont Nature
Center features interactive touch screen displays as well as a full classroom-style
center that welcomes school groups, camp groups and many other visitors.
