Adler Display Designs and Installs Display Boards for Ocean City, Maryland’s Town Hall Renovation Project

Friday, February 3rd, 2012

Adler was approached by representatives of Ocean City, Maryland and charged with creating visually appealing displays that would capture the essence of OC, past and present, for its new Town Hall Renovation Project. The mission was simple; create signage that would be both easily readable and aesthetically pleasing. The challenge was the Town Hall’s narrow hallways and utilitarian lighting. But, as always, Adler Display was up to the challenge.

We created display boards that highlighted a spectacular bird’s-eye view of local landmarks, the town’s officials, its popular Sunfest and the history of Ocean City and its City Hall.

Working closely with the curator of the Ocean City museum, the Mayor, and various other Ocean City officials, Adler Display designed, created, and installed 14 visually stunning panels, throughout the Town Hall, at strategic locations. We took everything into consideration, from lighting and wall color to the materials used in the displays. These materials were chosen to call to mind the architecture of the building and its historical use as a school.

As a result, the finished Adler Display panels have been well received by the Mayor, Ocean City locals and tourists, a like.

Visitor center displays from Adler Display incorporate all that we do best – innovative design, quality craftsmanship, and superior graphics – to create amazing visual and interactive displays.

Adler Display has created a number of visitor center displays including the DuPont Nature Center in Delaware, the Baltimore Visitor Center, The Maryland State Office of Tourism, The Wicomico County Visitor Center, The Dorchester County Visitor Center, and the Garrett County Visitor Center.

Adler Display Designs and Installs Hall of Fame Exhibit and Donor Recognition Displays for the New Athletic Center at Hood College

Wednesday, January 25th, 2012

In late 2011, Adler Display – a national leader in visual communications through trade show and permanent displays – completed an athletic Hall of Fame display, interior and exterior donor recognition displays, and custom ADA room signs for suites in the new Hood College athletic center.

The Hood College athletic facility houses the college’s intercollegiate, recreational, and intramural activities. It is also home to Hood’s men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams. The athletic center includes a NCAA regulation-sized court for basketball and volleyball contests, seating capacity of 1600, two-level fitness center and cardio room, offices for athletic department staff, full-service athletic training room, four locker rooms, meeting rooms, concession area, and approximately 160 parking spaces.

Adler Display’s newly unveiled Hall of Fame exhibit, donor recognition displays, and ADA room signage were just the finishing touches on what was already a visually stunning facility.

Hall of Fame Exhibit: This aesthetically pleasing display recognizes Hood College athletes who have made significant contributions to the athletic tradition at this institution. The athletes are featured on bold panels varying in size and covering a wide range of sports. Plaques on each end of the display highlight the history and traditions of Hood College athletics.

Donor Recognition Displays: These visually appealing displays, which are located both inside and outside the athletic center, offer naming opportunities for Hood College donors. The exterior recognition display pylons recognize donors of a promenade that leads to the center and a patio outside the center.

ADA Signs for Athletic Center Suites: Adler Display also installed custom ADA signs for suites in the center that include tactile lettering and Braille. In addition, standard ADA code signs with room numbers, tactile lettering, and Braille were installed throughout the center.
