Originally designed by Howard Adler in the late 1950’s, Frontier Town in Ocean City, Maryland is one of the last remaining Western theme parks in the United States. Frontier Town was the brain child of Bill Patton and Bill Pacey, Maryland business owners and entrepreneurs who envisioned Ocean City as a popular family destination, well before it became one.
To bring this dream to life, those involved hired Howard Adler and Adler Display to design and create the park and its themed displays. This included:
“I remember when my dad used to take us there (Frontier Town),” said Howard’s son, Ron Adler, the current owner of Adler Display. “Today it’s just like I remember, but it seemed so much bigger when I was little.”
"C'mon down folks"... to our replica western town circa 1860 situated alongside of Frontier Town Campground and only 5 minutes from Ocean City, Maryland. Git yerself ready for a trip back into America's Wild West with all its purdy nostalgia and tons of colorful characters! Return with us to them days of yesteryear and live a day in the life of a rootin' tootin' cowboy, an earth-poundin' Indian Chief or a high steppin' Can Can gal. Browse 'bout the quaint western gift shops, chow down in the town's eateries or jus' rest yer doggies a spell and let the youngins romp 'round while you lose yerself in the thick atmosphere of the Ol' West. http://www.frontiertown.com/western-theme-park/
We at Adler Display are proud to have been a part of the park’s creation and thank those who have taken such good care of our original displays over these past 50 years!
“Every time I visit, I am happy to see that much of my dad’s work is still being enjoyed,” said Ron Adler.
If you have any questions about Frontier Town or if you would like to know what Adler Display can do for you, please contact us by calling 410-281-1200 or visit AdlerDisplay.com.

To get the most out of your Trade Show Experience, you will need three things.
No successful trade show vendor has ever “winged it.” Luckily, we at Adler Display have several tips on trade show planning for success, from getting your booth there to booth staffing to the return trip home.
Booth Set Up
Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to set up, because you may find that you are missing an item or two or that a light bulb has burned out. And you need time to make any unexpected changes / repairs.
Booth Staffing
A common mistake is over-staffing your booth. So try to stick with the following formula:
2 booth staffers for the first 10′ of booth space + 1 staffer for each additional 10′ of space. That equation would work like this:
Attracting People to your Booth – Trade Show Displays from Adler Display
No matter what type of trade show display you choose, one of our Adler Display trade show display project managers will make sure it’s done on time and on budget. From quick and easy banner stands to large and complex custom island displays, Adler Display has the trade show display staff and experience to create your ideal trade show display. Adler Display will work with you to design and fabricate a trade show display that meets your marketing and budget needs.
Generating Leads
You attend trade shows for one reason, to generate leads and thus business. The key to obtaining leads that can be turned into sales calls (and subsequently sales) starts with a good Lead Retrieval System. Most trade shows make good lead retrieval systems available to exhibitors at a very reasonable rate. These systems generally scan an attendee’s badge or card, log the information into a database, and print a hard copy. What they do not do, however, is electronically log additional information that your booth staff may gain in a conversation.
A good way to make the electronic information valuable is to review the hard copy printout while your visitor is in the booth, and use it to make any notes about your conversation that will be helpful in the follow-up phase. Be sure to write legibly…back at the office you may not remember your conversation!
Good Luck!

Mount St. Mary’s University approached Adler Display about creating an engaging gallery of eight wood-framed graphic panels within the Miller Senate Building. The panels had to communicate the four pillars of the university — faith, discovery, leadership and community – while visually conveying the look and feel of the Mount within the confines of the Miller Senate Building’s own historic appearance.
The challenge was not an easy one, but, of course, Adler Display was up to the challenge!
In order to visually bridge the gap between the Senate building’s black and white gallery and the rich woods and colors of the Mount St. Mary’s natural palette, Adler Display’s design team added contemporary accents of aluminum and acrylic to the displays. Furthermore, to protect the integrity of the public space, Adler fabricated wall panels around the existing ceiling track, leaving the wall surfaces intact.
The experts at Adler Display understand the importance of our country’s historic buildings. With over 30 years experience in creating historic building displays, you can be assured that we will respect the integrity and materiality of your historic building. We identify, respect and work within the delicate fabric of historic buildings and we can help you bring the history of a historic building to life, educate guests and work to bring art, artifacts, and information to the forefront. The superior design team at Adler Display can create stunning and impactful historic building displays for you no matter what your unique challenges may be.
Adler Display has created informational and inspiring historic building displays for a variety of properties listed on The National Register for Historic Preservation.
If you have any questions about the project described above or if you would like to know what Adler Display can do for you, please contact us by calling 410-281-1200 or visit AdlerDisplay.com.

In 2010, Adler Display was commissioned to design innovative pop-up displays and banner stands for Greater Baltimore Medical Center’s Sunflower Campaign, which highlights inspirational, real-life stories of its employees. GBMC – which employs more than 3,500 people in clinical and non-clinical areas – includes Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Central Maryland’s leading community hospital; Gilchrist Hospice Care, which provides comfort and care to patients with life-limiting illnesses; and the GBMC Foundation, which supports the GBMC mission by managing fundraising efforts.
The Sunflower Campaign shows the many ways in which GBMC is making a true difference in the lives of others.
Through the use of television commercials, radio ads and social media, the campaign highlights the individuals that make GBMC more than just a provider of excellent health care.
“We were initially contacted by GBMC in February 2009 to help launch the new Sunflower Campaign to their employees,” stated Ron Adler, President of Adler Display. “It was a true feel good project. We are very proud of our association with GBMC and thrilled to have our displays be a part of recognizing such an incredibly special group of individuals.”
Adler Display was able to showcase the mission of GBMC and honor its extraordinary healthcare providers.
