Founded in 1937 by Howard Adler, Adler Display began as a modest hand lettering company in the attic above his parents’ clothing store on Biddle Street. Since that time, Adler Display has grown into a nationally recognized provider of trade show displays and presentation graphics with a reputation for innovative, creative, and quality-oriented design and fabrication.
It is with these high standards that Adler Display has been able to not only succeed, but also excel in its 75-year history. We bring a level of creativity, imagination, and experience to each and every project that is unmatched by our competition.
In just 75 years, Adler Display has grown from that small hand lettering company in the attic to a company providing customized trade show displays to both mid-market and international clients, and building custom corporate environments such as lobbies, conference rooms, history walls and corporate museums. We have created several renowned landmark projects, including: The Enchanted Forest in Ellicott City, Maryland, Frontier Town in Ocean City, Maryland, The Children’s Zoo in Baltimore City, Maryland, as well as Baltimore’s own “Nipper” the RCA dog.
Adler Display aims to help clients communicate their messages with a visual impact that says it all, without saying a word.
Ronald Adler assumed the presidency of Adler Display in 1986. His leadership continues to place the company at the forefront of the display industry bringing innovative, effective solutions to every customer’s needs.

Okay, your trade show is over. Now what? Well, now the real work begins. Don’t let your leads fall into the Sales Lead Black Hole, where 80% of trade show leads inevitably wind up. It is time to take advantage if those trade show leads / sales leads!
Tips for Lead Generation Follow Up
Organize & Prioritize: Take a few minutes to evaluate your priorities and organize them for follow-up. Remember, your current clients should always come before prospects. Don’t ignore you current clients to go after a sales lead.
Sort Through the Sales Leads: Follow up with your most promising sales leads right away! Your hot leads should be followed up (by phone unless they have requested otherwise) within one or two days of show close.
Follow-Up Your Follow-Up: Your initial follow up is most likely the first time your potential client will hear from you, but it should by no means be the last. If you have time, continue to work leads until they pan out. Do not give up on a hot lead because they declined to take immediate action. Add them to your mailing list, your e-mail list, your holiday cards list – whatever means of consistent communication your company does. Even though these prospects have not purchased yet, they should still be considered good potential clients.
So what are you waiting for? Start following up with those trade show leads!

Originally designed by Howard Adler in the late 1950’s, Frontier Town in Ocean City, Maryland is one of the last remaining Western theme parks in the United States. Frontier Town was the brain child of Bill Patton and Bill Pacey, Maryland business owners and entrepreneurs who envisioned Ocean City as a popular family destination, well before it became one.
To bring this dream to life, those involved hired Howard Adler and Adler Display to design and create the park and its themed displays. This included:
“I remember when my dad used to take us there (Frontier Town),” said Howard’s son, Ron Adler, the current owner of Adler Display. “Today it’s just like I remember, but it seemed so much bigger when I was little.”
"C'mon down folks"... to our replica western town circa 1860 situated alongside of Frontier Town Campground and only 5 minutes from Ocean City, Maryland. Git yerself ready for a trip back into America's Wild West with all its purdy nostalgia and tons of colorful characters! Return with us to them days of yesteryear and live a day in the life of a rootin' tootin' cowboy, an earth-poundin' Indian Chief or a high steppin' Can Can gal. Browse 'bout the quaint western gift shops, chow down in the town's eateries or jus' rest yer doggies a spell and let the youngins romp 'round while you lose yerself in the thick atmosphere of the Ol' West. http://www.frontiertown.com/western-theme-park/
We at Adler Display are proud to have been a part of the park’s creation and thank those who have taken such good care of our original displays over these past 50 years!
“Every time I visit, I am happy to see that much of my dad’s work is still being enjoyed,” said Ron Adler.

To get the most out of your Trade Show Experience, you will need three things.
No successful trade show vendor has ever “winged it.” Luckily, we at Adler Display have several tips on trade show planning for success, from getting your booth there to booth staffing to the return trip home.
Booth Set Up
Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to set up, because you may find that you are missing an item or two or that a light bulb has burned out. And you need time to make any unexpected changes / repairs.
Booth Staffing
A common mistake is over-staffing your booth. So try to stick with the following formula:
2 booth staffers for the first 10′ of booth space + 1 staffer for each additional 10′ of space. That equation would work like this:
Attracting People to your Booth – Trade Show Displays from Adler Display
No matter what type of trade show display you choose, one of our Adler Display trade show display project managers will make sure it’s done on time and on budget. From quick and easy banner stands to large and complex custom island displays, Adler Display has the trade show display staff and experience to create your ideal trade show display. Adler Display will work with you to design and fabricate a trade show display that meets your marketing and budget needs.
Generating Leads
You attend trade shows for one reason, to generate leads and thus business. The key to obtaining leads that can be turned into sales calls (and subsequently sales) starts with a good Lead Retrieval System. Most trade shows make good lead retrieval systems available to exhibitors at a very reasonable rate. These systems generally scan an attendee’s badge or card, log the information into a database, and print a hard copy. What they do not do, however, is electronically log additional information that your booth staff may gain in a conversation.
A good way to make the electronic information valuable is to review the hard copy printout while your visitor is in the booth, and use it to make any notes about your conversation that will be helpful in the follow-up phase. Be sure to write legibly…back at the office you may not remember your conversation!
Good Luck!
