Adler Display has created permanent displays for a number of interesting clients, from Frontier Town and the Enchanted Forest to The Benjamin Banneker Museum and more. But perhaps the most interesting of all of Adler’s recent projects is the work we did with the DuPont Nature Center at the Mispillion Harbor Reserve in Delaware.
This one-of-a-kind facility is centered around a natural phenomenon: the mating of the horseshoe crab. Every year, this prehistoric species gathers along the shoreline at Slaughter Beach to mate and lay their eggs. Shortly after, migratory shore birds that have traveled from as far away as the southern tip of South America stop to feed on the horseshoe crab eggs.
Adler was asked by the DuPont Nature Center to capture this unique event, , as well as provide education about other beautiful and fascinating wildlife in Delaware.
The DuPont Nature Center features interactive touch screen displays as well as a full classroom-style center that welcomes school groups, camp groups and many other visitors.
