Adler Display recently completed a custom train-themed children’s area display at the Westminster branch of the Carroll County Public Library. The display was inspired by the train track that crosses Main Street in downtown Westminster and includes:
The train-themed play area was just the first step of the library’s three-year interior and exterior renovation project designed to engage young minds and educate children about Westminster history.
“We are very pleased with Adler’s vision for the project,” stated Lynn Wheeler, director of the Carroll County Public Library. “The elements in the design they created are sure to delight our visitors. Adler Display has responded to our needs and kept the project consistently on schedule.”
The train-themed children’s area renovation was made possible by a Maryland State Library Capital Programs grant (administered by the Division of Library Development and Services, Maryland State Department of Education), with local matching funds approved by the Board of Commissioners for Carroll County.
The Carroll County library project continues Adler Display’s long-standing tradition of creating, fun, crowd-pleasing permanent displays. Other child-friendly displays created by Adler Display include the Enchanted Forest in Ellicott City and Frontier Town in Ocean City, Maryland.
