Adler Display completed two permanent exhibit installations at the University of Louisiana at Monroe Library’s Special Collection area for “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and a replica of the Louisiana Window.
An original authenticated manuscript of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” bestowed to the University of Louisiana at Monroe by philanthropist and long-time ULM supporter Linda Noe Laine, is brought to life with an interactive, custom-made display case and state-of-the-art sound dome. When the cabinet doors open, the light inside turns on and lyrics scroll across a video screen so viewers can sing along as they hear a rendition of the song by the ULM Concert Choir and the ULM Wind Ensemble.
Adler Display also installed a light box exhibit for an exact replica of the Louisiana Window, the original of which was dedicated in 1995 in honor of Ms. Linda Noe Laine’s parents and is located in the Henry VII Chapel of the historic Westminster Abbey in London. It is a stained glass window that celebrates early settlers to the heartland of America.
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Library project continues Adler Display's long-standing tradition of creating innovative display design and fabrication to bring art, artifacts, and information to life.
